Easy Poke

 This poke is so easy, and so healthy - and a few faithfull standby's really help - friend onion, seaweed salad, furikaka.  Use salmon or tuna, just make sure it can be eaten raw.


Salmon poke bowl

Ingredients:

  • 2 large sashimi grade Ahi tuna steaks about 1 1/2 pounds
  • 1 shallot sliced (or Maui onions)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 inch of grated ginger
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce look for a gluten free brand
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directons:

    1) chop the fish, 
    2) mix all the ingredients in a bowl
    3) cool it in the fridge
    4) serve over rice
